TIMBER
Significant timber harvest occurred from 1994. The timber resource is recovering rapidly. The current timber resource has extraordinary investment potential for the longer-term owner. The timber consists of: Ponderosa pine, douglas fir, white fir, western larch, lodgepole pine, and spruce. There has not been any harvest since 1994, with no planned harvest in the future.
MINERALS
Mineral rights are included with the sale of the property. The area is known for gold deposits. Just 3/4 mile south is the famous Sanger Mine where Gold was discovered in 1870. This Mine was actively worked with production ceasing in 1897 when total output was estimated at about $1,500,000, worth in today's value of $150,000,000. This mine has been worked sporadically in recent history.
